Amely Greeven is not your typical meditation teacher. At 36, her career has taken her from fashion highs (American Vogue) to dot com lows (the internet gold rush), from remote Montana horse ranches to the foothills of the Himalayas, and finally to Los Angeles. She teaches Vedic meditation, the oldest and most natural technique for mental de-excitation in the world, to ordinary people seeking to combat stress, expand their happiness, and build a stable sense of self in increasingly unsettled times. She also writes books on health and wellness. Her latest collaboration is Clean, with Dr. Alejandro Junger, and she partners with actress Mariel Hemingway on her books like Healthy Living from the Inside Out. Amely is passionate about cross-pollinating—travelling, exploring, and sharing the ideas, tools, and stories that will help us collectively usher in the more wakeful society we need.
